When we play otome games, sometimes we meet characters who are abusive, possessive and even violent towards the poor heroine.
We know we should hate them; if they were real, they would be nasty criminals who should rot and die in jail. But while playing, we can’t help but being fascinated by their crazy personality.

10- Shiki (Dance with Devils)
Sadist, but also masochist, he loves seeing people suffering as much as he enjoyes being hurt.
He’s always looking for something that makes him excited, without caring about other people’s feelings. His creepy and perverted mind made him a fallen angel, with amazing black wings.
9- Shiki (Period Cube)
He created a new world just to be with his sister, without caring at all about the lives of many other players who got stuck in the game and died; in fact, he didn’t even care about Kazuha’s feelings, he just decided it was the only way to obtain her.
8- Shido Kaname (Bad Medicine)
An english teacher obsessed with order and perfection.
His idea of discipline is very peculiar: he will lock you in a special room, flipping his whip at you until you learn how to respect the school rules properly.
He always wears gloves because he hates touching directly anyone and anything.
7- Mejojo (Black wolves saga)
Should I list all the terrible things he did, just to fulfill his ego and obtain revenge? His traumatic childhood had a bad influence on him, but obviously this is not enough to justify all his terrible actions. Yet, somehow, I can’t hate him completely. I can’t help but wonder if he could have been a nice person and a good king, if he grew up with a loving mother.
6- Natsume, Ephemeral fantasy on dark
I’ve played a lot of bad boys, but I never imagined one of them would threaten to cut me into pieces and eat me. All he said and did was creepy, I was even scared to be alone with him cause he totally looked like he could stab me or disfigure my face so I would become ugly and no other man would fall in love with me.
5- Iori- ChouChou Jiken
It’s unusual for me to fall in love with a shota, but his route was one of the most interesting yet creepiest I’ve even played: his bratty attitude got me hooked, I wanted to know more about him.
I was more curious and fascinated than angry, even if he deserved a punch most of the time.
4- Yang (Piofiore no banshou)
I know, he’s just a sadistic psycho who ejoys playing with people’s life.
But his creepy voice and bossy attitude somehow make him so attractive, I couldn’t help but fall in love with his twisted personality and cruel smile.
3- Laito (Diabolik Lovers)
Pervert, creepy and basically a rapist who thinks women are just toys for him to have fun.
Just thinking about his relationship with his mother makes me feel angry and disgusted; but somehow, I can’t hate him completely, since part of his attitude depends on Cordelia’s behaviour when he was a child.
2- Auger (Black wolves saga)
Black wolves saga wouldn’t be so great without his hysterical laugh, his psycho moments and the creepy sound of his violin. He’s so cruel and crazy, we can’t stop looking at him, just to see how far he can get.
1- Masato (Moshikami)
I bet our reaction was the same, after knowing about the beach incident: we couldn’t even look at him anymore, we just wished him to burn in hell and leave the poor Haruka alone!
But still, she forgave him. And that was even more frustrating to see.
He’s a shocking character, who set a new level of “bad” and left a great impression on everyone who played the game; we won’t forget his route easily.

I just stop to say than you’re the best otome game reviewer ever. Seriously you have such great taste, at least four of these bad boys are part of my husbando list, Yang is really the best otome game antagonist ever written, i wasn’t expected to fall in love so much with this character first but my love for him grew up very quickly after having see his route.
Beside he’s dub by the same dude who have do Hansel in Code Realize, thus it explain why he have such a grim voice except than his tone is more seductive but yet you feel the danger.
I enjoy a lot his dynamic with the heroine too, it’s like a upgrade version of Alvaro and Lulu mix with a little bit Laito x Yui and Ayato x Yui, except than his route didn’t have all the psychological abuse and brainwashing than Laito route have.
Beside that my favorite bad boy is Ayato i really like his perverted prankster personality.

I was going to put Ayato in this list too, but I wanted to choose only a DiaLovers character and I thought about Laito first, his personality feels even stronger somehow… he makes a great impact, someone extreme like him is rare in otome games! Maybe in the future I’ll make a list about boys I really disliked, there are a few I couldn’t even put here!

Interesting, i’m very curious to know your most hated bishies list. But i’m pretty sure than half of the cast of ORZmafia can fit there has all the dude in this game are pretty despicable, i only enjoy the brothel trio. I can’t blame Fuuka to wanted to have fun, Kyrie is a manipulative schemer who only see her like a replacement and the others are more interested by a loli than by her which his very unfortunate. I just wish she could have take her revenge by making everyone his bitch in the end.

It’s been a long time since I played OzMafia, all I remember was me facepalming because the heroine felt so empty and useless, I almost felt ashamed to play her role! I guess my most hated boys come from Dynamic Chord, they were so abusive and douche I wanted to drop so many times…
