TOP10 Otome games I wish would get an anime adaptation

Even if otome games anime adaptations are always a controversial topic, since it’s very difficult to obtain a result which can satisfy every fan of the series, I admit I’m always excited, when there’s an anime announcement: even if it may “ruin” the original work, mashing up all the routes into a nonsense, I’m still happy when I can see my favorite characters moving and taking action.

So, this is a TOP10 of games I wish would become an anime!

10- SHINOBI KOI UTSUTSU

It would be a fun, colorful and light hearted anime, with great comedy scenes and fluff!

9- PIOFIORE NO BANSHOU

I think the plot it’s interesting enough to attract anime lovers, even if they are not interested in otome games. All the characters have a great personality and the setting is great, I’d definitely recommend it.

8- YUUKYUU NO TIERBLADE

Robots fighting have been popular for decades, I think Tierblade has everything it takes to become a good mecha anime!

7- GLASS HEART PRINCESS

This would be a great comedy anime; if Satsuki has enough chance to shine, I bet she could be even more popular than boys. She’s the best girl subchara of all times to me!

6- GEKKA RYOURAN ROMANCE

It could easily be considered the dark version of Ouran High School, so I can predict fans of the series making comparisons already. I love both, so I’d just enjoy the show!

5- STORM LOVER

As a school game adapted into an anime, I can see it becoming really popular soon: good looking guys, comedy, romanticism… I’m sure many people would fell in love easily!

4- CHARADE MANIACS

This would be extremely interesting, for people who haven’t played the game yet: I already imagine them wondering who is the traitor, suspecting everyone and getting a shock in the end!

3- BUSTAFELLOWS

There are a lot of action scenes and a good amount of drama, so it would be really great to watch!

2- BLACK WOLVES SAGA

This anime would be a dark masterpiece. Can you imagine, seeing and hearing Auger playing the violin? So many dramatic scenes deserve to be appreciated by a wider public, it shouldn’t be restricted to a niche.

1- 7’SCARLET

This would be epic.

It’s creepy, dramatic, shocking! There’s action, suspense, horror, betrayals and love.

What else could you ask for?

Maybe it’s even better fit to be an anime, instead of an otome game!

Is there a game you wish could become an anime too?

TOP10 Most handsome boys!

Have you ever played an otome game while staring aimlessly at the screen, thinking “this is the most handsome boy I’ve ever seen in my life”? Maybe his personality is not that great and you end up even disliking him, but you can’t deny how perfect he looks aesthetically.

We all have different standards of beauty and different favorite artists, so this is probably the most subjective (and useless, lol) TOP10 I’ve ever written, but… these are the guys whose perfect face made me go doki doki just by looking at them!

10- Oz Mafia!- Kyrie

9- ChouChou Jiken- Masanari

8- Collar Malice- Kei

7- Diabolik Lovers- Shuu

6- Glass Heart Princess- Shinnosuke

5- Amnesia- Ikki

4- Hana Oboro- Nobunaga

3- Piofiore no banshou- Nicola

2- Snow Bound Land- Kai

1- Reine Des Fleurs- Louis

As you can see, some of them ended up being my husbando because I love their personalities and story, too; but I never talk about some others, because there’s nothing else I find fascinating, besides their beautiful appearance.

Looking at this list, I can easily spot a common pattern: blue or green eyes. And maybe blond hair too, I guess. Well, such a clichè always works probably.

And what’s your type, aesthetically? Who’s the most handsome 2D boys you’ve ever seen?

Megane TOP10

I know some of you out there are weak to boys who wear glasses, there’s no need to hide it!

I personally enjoy this trope from time to time, intellectual guys are very attractive.

Here’s my TOP10 of favorite megane ikemen, enjoy!

10- Reiji- Diabolik Lovers

The brain of Sakamaki family; always polite and diligent, he loses his temper only when he deals with Shuu. He wants to use his knowledge to become the next head of the family.

9- Kent- Amnesia

Stoic, cool and composed, this math genius is completely incapable of showing his feelings to the girl he loves; he seems to be heartless, but he just needs time to open up.

8- Shido Kaname- Bad Medicine

I hope you’re good at English, because this teacher won’t allow you to get bad grades; he’s a control freak, so if you somehow break the school rules, be prepared to enter hell!

7- Ukyo- Brothers Conflict

A serious lawyer, who is actually kinda awkward at expressing his feelings; he takes care of his younger brothers and protects Ema when they are too flirty with her.

6- Van Helsing- Code Realize

His painful past made him cold, as if there’s no feeling left in him; making him fall in love will be very hard, but totally worth the effort.

5- Saku- Gakuen Club

He loves reading books and he’s also a talented writer, even if he’s hiding his true identity.

Despite being introverted, he’s not too shy around girls and it was always pleasant to talk to him.

4- Keito- Charade Maniacs

He hates women and dislikes dealing with people in general, since he has trust issues; but after all, he loves taking care of others with his delicious cooking.

3- Shougo- Nil Admirari no tenbin

He’s such an helpless tsundere, despite his words might seem uncaring from time to time, his real feelings are always obvious; he’s really pure, perfect boyfriend material.

2- Atsumori- Gekka Ryouran Romance

Sadistic and cold, he thinks everything in this world could be obtained with the power of money, even love; he can’t trust people at all, since he’s being neglected by his family since childhood. Can you gain his trust?

1- Yuri- Shinobi koi utsutsu

When he’s embarrassed, his face turns completely red like a tomato and he starts mumbling nonsense… do I need more reasons to love him? His reactions are so over the top, I couldn’t help but laugh all the time and fall in love with him really hard!

Who’s your favorite megane boy?

Top10 CeroD otome games

Hello, Cero D otome games lovers! Whenever we see this rating, we tend to be excited, imagining sexy scenes with our ikemen; but what if it actually turns out to be a bloody game, filled with abuse and violence? If you need some help to avoid disappointment and find what’s your favorite style, welcome to my TOP10!

Let’s start from Cero D violence, until we reach pure fanservice.

Of course, since I love dark games, it doesn’t mean the lowest positions are games I didn’t enjoy: I just want to put them on a scale, from splattered blood to sexiness.

10- Moshikami

It feels like a bloody horror, everything terrible you can imagine is here.

But still, I think it’s still worth playing, if you dare to descend hell.

9- Black wolves saga

Cero D for torture, abuse, blood and violence.

But nonetheless, a great masterpiece I’d recommend to anyone.

8- Diabolik Lovers

The most famous vampires ever, I don’t think I need to tell you about the blood and the abuse you’re going to face, but mostly in the first game and More Blood.

7- Utsusemi no meguri

Demons, blood and yandere endings! Sadly, not many sexy times as I expected.

6- Nil Admirari

There are very dark and disturbing themes, but also sexy scenes with the guys as a reward.

5- Piofiore no Banshou

It’s italian mafia, portrayed quite realistically (except there are not so many ikemen here, sadly), so you can obviously expect violence and crime. But also, you can enjoy a lot of sexy times.

Absolutely recommended!

4- Dynamic chord

Only Kyohso and Apple Polisher are rated Cero D.

There are many sex scenes, but also implied rape; it can be very rage inducing, so be careful!

3- Zettai Kaikyuu Gakuen

I guess the rating mostly comes from the overall theme, instead of just violence or sex.

It’s kinda safe, if you expect something deep, but without much blood.

2- Ikemen Sengoku

Mostly fanservice, the violence is basically nonexistent and Cero D rating seemed a bit unnecessary.

1- Otoko Yuukaku

This is basically plotless soft porn, you get to date these manwhores and eventually fall in love with them. Recommended if you need a break from plot-driven games.

What’s your favorite kind of Cero D otome game?

TOP10 historical otome games

Historical games are not my favorite type of otome, mainly because they usually focus more on wars than romance; also, difficult kanji can be a huge obstacle.

But even if the language barrier can be painful, sometimes it’s worth the effort!

From time to time, I admit I really enjoy immersing in those ancient times: most of all, the Sengoku period was really fascinating, no one can deny it.

So, let’s take a look at my favorite historical otome games!

10- Satomi Hakkenden

Am I recommending a Quinrose game in 2020? well, so it seems.

There’s a strong heroine disguised as a boy, an interesting plot and good characters, who had very different charms which made them lovable. An hidden gem no one ever talks about.

9- Utsusemi no meguri

If you think oni are sexy, but most of all you like some fantasy themes in historical games, this is what you’re looking for: wars, blood, demons and crazy yandere endings are waiting for you!

8- Ikemen Sengoku

I admit it, despite the setting, this game is mostly blatant fanservice: but some of those ikemen were so amazing, they were able to make my heart beat faster. And it’s not easy, I swear, many years of otome gaming made me difficult to please. But Masamune and Kenshin stole my heart.

7- Toki no kizuna

Even if it’s an otoge, I honestly consider it more like an adventure game, since the true romance is developed mostly in the fandisk; there’s not much time, in the main game, for romantic situations: it’s plot centered, focused on historical events and wars which can end up being boring if you’re not deeply involved or interested in these aspects. But still, it’s a classic I’d recommend to anyone interested in Japanese history.

6- Shinobi koi utsutsu

Despite the setting, this game it’s mostly fanservice; which is not bad at all, from time to time!

Since the heroine is training to become a shinobi, you’d expect a lot of serious scenes and blood… but what you get, it’s mostly cute tsundere blushing!

5- Nil Admirari no tenbin

Set in the Taisho Era, this game has an heavy plot which revolves around mystery, death and overall angsty themes that may not be suited for everyone; I personally enjoyed it a lot, but keep in mind this is not the typical otome game at all. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoy dark themes.

4- Jyuuzaengi

This game would be worth playing just for ChouUn, who is basically the prince charming we all hope to meet in real life; add a great, strong heroine and an interesting plot, and it’s enough to obtain a great game.

3- Hana Oboro

Among wars, in Sengoku period, you’ll get to meet people who changed Japanese history; but most of all, you get the chance to fight with them, which is rare: even if you’re a princess (and Nobunaga’s sister!), you’ll experience a real battle, while fighting actively your enemies.

2- Nightshade/Hyakka yakurou

This game was one of the most interesting, shocking and painful I’ve ever played; it destroyed my soul multiple times, but yet I couldn’t stop loving every single moment.

A great writing, amazing characters and a strong heroine, make everything perfect for people who enjoy dark themes.

1- Hakuouki

A classic, probably the most famous otome game ever.

Even if you don’t like historical settings, you must give a chance to this masterpiece: your heart will probably be broken in the end, but it’s worth every tear.

My Diabolik Lovers characters’ ranking

After so many Diabolik Lovers games, which I played in 7 years, I think it’s time for me to write my character’s ranking! I guess you all know who’s my favorite, if you’ve ever read my TOP10 husbando. But what about the others?

As usual, starting from the guys I like the least, to my true love!

13- Ayato

His ore-sama personality unnerves me most of the time, it’s too much for me to take.

I absolutely hated him in More Blood, but I admit his attitude eventually became decent or even cute in recent games; but still, I can’t forget how he treated Yui at first.

While playing Chaos Lineage I’ve been through that hell again and I couldn’t even bear his face or hear his voice anymore.

I pitied Yui, who seemed to consider the abuse normal to stay by his side. She deserves better.

12- Carla

I was hyped when I first saw him, but the terrible writing in Dark Fate ruined everything and I couldn’t bear the repeated violence and abuse towards the poor Yui. I did my best to give him another chance in Lost Eden, where he was way more gentle, but I still can’t forgive him completely. Chaos Lineage didn’t help at all.

11- Kanato

I did my best to find something good about him, but it was really hard: his hysteric screams pierced my ears and his obsessive yangire attitude makes him dangerous.

Most of his routes were painful, but at least he’s always interesting, I can’t predict his actions and his way of thinking is all over the place.

Chaos Lineage made a miracle anyway, somehow I felt connected to him thanks to his constant disgust of everyone and everything, which honestly is my mood in these past months.

10- Azusa

I know, he’s a sweet guy, but his slow talking makes me sleep.

I want to hug him because he’s a pure soul who needs help, but I didn’t enjoy that much playing his routes, I can’t consider him boyfriend material.

9- Reiji

I’m attracted to his smart brain and noble manners, but overall I can’t find him that interesting; his inferiority complex makes him paranoid and what he did to his mother and Shuu can’t be justified.

8- Shin

I won’t lie, I wasn’t expecting that much when I first saw him, he looked more like a random character added just to make Carla shine more.

But his past and his controversial relationship with his brother, which is a mix of respect, devotion, fear and obsessive affection, got me really involved: it made me curious, I wanted to know more about his hidden feelings. His character development was really interesting.

7- Ruki

Same as Reiji, I’ve always admired his intelligence and strategic skills, but I couldn’t find anything else interesting about him. I used to think that even the writers didn’t know what to do with him, so they just kept writing about his devotion for Karlheinz instead.

This was my opinion until I played Chaos Lineage, when Ruki randomly started being flirty, teasing Yui and talking to her with a sexy low voice.

I’ll take this change as some sort of character development, at least he has a personality now and his relationship with Yui has a chemistry!

6- Kino

He appeared just lately in this series, so maybe it’s too early for me to put him so high in this ranking; but his traumatic childhood and manipulative personality were interesting enough for me to enjoy his route and have good expectations for his future character development.

I want to know more, I think there’s still a lot to be discovered.

5- Laito

I know, he’s a perverted freak, I should stay miles away.

But I’ve always found his attitude so exaggerate, it’s almost amusing; it makes him like some kind of comical character to me most of the times, he can’t be serious! Or maybe he is.

I also love how he matured, his More Blood route was one of my favorite because he learned to love and grew a lot as a person. I think I can trust him now.

4- Yuuma

I won’t lie, his real identity is the reason I got interested in him first; but in the end, I grew to like him a lot, even if he acts rude sometimes. But he looks more like a gentle giant now, I know he’s actually kind.

3- Subaru

He’s the innocent tsundere (for Diabolik Lovers standards, obviously) of the series and probably the only one who truly loves Yui since the first game and needs her love to heal his scars. I think he’s the most “typical otome character” of this series.

2- Kou

He’s difficult to handle at first, because he has deep trust issues; but I love unpredictable characters, it’s interesting when I don’t know what to expect from their reactions. I find his confidence attractive too, I guess it’s because he’s an idol and he perfectly knows how good looking he is.

His past is one of the most traumatic I’ve ever seen in any game and it’s unforgettable, I admit it made me shocked and angry.

1- Shuu

My ultimate husbando, the 2D character who really stole my heart 6 years ago and still stands on his throne, irreplaceable.

What do I love about him? I can properly explain.

Maybe his smirk, when he teases Yui? Maybe his tragic past, which made him isolated from his brothers and unable to make friends? Or maybe it’s just the fact that, after all, he was unable to hate his father, his mother and even Reiji, even if he had lots of reasons. He’s one of the few who doesn’t care about inherit the family or gaining power, he just wants to be free.

Free from pain, from responsibility, from judgment, but also free from solitude.

Maybe he’s the most human of them all.

So, what do you think about my ranking? Do you agree, or not at all?

This ranking is based on the 6 games I played:

  • Diabolik Lovers Haunted Dark Bridal

  • More Blood

  • Dark Fate

  • Lunatic Parade

  • Lost Eden

  • Chaos Lineage

I wasn’t expecting it, but playing Chaos Lineage changed my opinion about many characters, I had to modify completely the lowest positions.

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy Kanato’s presence at some point of my life, but here I am; I wasn’t even expecting to love Kou to the point of questioning Shu’s omnipotence in my heart, but switching those positions was a close call.

Who knows, maybe a new game in the future will be able to change this ranking again!

My Starry Sky character’s ranking and random Zodiac Signs stuff

If you are passionate about reading your horoscope every day, or at least you know the basics of Astrology, you already know how every Zodiac Sign is associated with peculiar traits; there’s also a theory that explains which Signs are the most compatible with each other, while others can’t absolutely get along.

But is it true?

In my experience, even if Astrology is not a perfect science, most of the people I know actually share the most important characteristics typical of their Signs. I do, too.

Of course, it’s not the same for everyone, and some people may think it’s just a joke.

While I was playing Starry Sky, a series where each dateable guy is supposed to represent a specific Zodiac Sign, I couldn’t help but associate every character to people I know in real life: I had fun while recognizing all the good and bad traits and I kept imagining myself in that world.

In the end, I thought about making some kind of social experiment: will I end up liking more the boys that represent a Sign usually considerate compatible with mine? Or would it reveal itself as some kind of useless joke? Each one of you who played Starry Sky can do the same experiment and I’d like to know how it went for you!

I’m not an expert, so I can’t tell if the characters in the game represent perfectly their Signs; I’ll just write my own perception of them, so feel free to tell me if something is wrong.

Don’t get offended if I somehow insult your Sign!

For reference, my Zodiac Sign is Cancer.

I literally share every single trait usually attributed to it, the good and the bad ones:

  • I’m loyal to death to everyone I truly love;

  • I’m possessive and protective of people I love;

  • Fear of abandonment;

  • Tendency to overreact;

  • Tendency to live in the past (or imagination);

  • Diplomat, peacemaker; I don’t like fights, but if it comes to defending a friend, I have no hesitation. Kill me, but don’t touch my friends;

  • I’m shy, but I also love the spotlight;

  • Kind, sensitive, intuitive;

  • Artistic, romantic, eccentric;

  • Moody and clingy.

Now, let’s take a look at my favorite Signs, based on their representations in Starry Sky!

Starting from the one who annoyed me the most, to my true love:

12- GEMINI Iku

He’s so annoying, arrogant and selfish, I was almost dropping his route. I decided to reach the ending just to see if he could redeem himself, but all I felt was just happiness because I was free from hell. It was painful to sit through.

I have problems dealing with Gemini people in real life too… sorry to my Gemini readers, but your personality is too difficult to handle and to trust for me!

11- LIBRA Kotarou

Messy, lazy and overall unreliable, he felt more like a spoiled brat than an adult.

He didn’t admit his feelings and loved acting as a drama queen, which led to misunderstandings and angst. This is definitely not my type of boyfriend.

10- LEO Naoshi

I know, he’s a good boy, but he’s definitely not my type: too loud, always hyped and not romantic enough. I think it would be hard for me even to befriend him, since we’re so different; a relationship would be completely impossible. I appreciate positive and energetic people like him, but we can’t be too close or they’d become annoying.

9- AQUARIUS Tsubasa

Always cheerful and even childish, with never-ending ideas for amazing inventions.

His creativity makes him a genius.

He’s secretly insecure and scared to be abandoned as it happened in his childhood, but I’d gladly help him recover, since he’s a sweet boy who needs affection.

I love him, but I think a relationship would be hard, I need a more mature person.

8- VIRGO Hayato

He’s talented, polite and a sweet boyfriend, but full of insecurities.

His inferiority complex and lack of confidence makes me sad, I always need to shower him with affection to make him feel appreciated as he deserves.

I want to hug him, but it’s hard for me to consider someone so frail boyfriend material.

7- PISCES Kanata

He’s really sweet, but sometimes he covers his feelings and prefers to solve problems by himself, instead of relying on his girlfriend. He doesn’t want to worry his loved ones, so he hurts in silence.

He wants to appear strong and independent, even when he’s weak.

Overall I liked him, but I have troubles dealing with this kind of people: I almost feel offended if they don’t want to share their pain with me, I feel ignored or not reliable enough for them.

I usually dislike how they want to appear cool, even if deep inside they are sensitive: it feels like they are two faced and I don’t know which is real.

6- ARIES Kazuki

I love his determination, confidence and reliability; he really looks and acts as you would expect from a President of the Student Council; there’s some kind of powerful aura around him.

Maybe someone may think he’s arrogant, but I love charismatic people who know what they want and do everything they can to achieve their goals.

5- CAPRICORN Yoh

I love how straightforward and cool he is.

He doesn’t care about other people, he just wants to be happy; his feelings and opinions always come first. I don’t think we could get along, since I’m the complete opposite, but I truly admire him: I wish I could be so cold and egocentric too, since I usually feel guilty for the smallest things.

Every time I say something remotely offensive or I think about myself without considering others, I feel really bad; but somehow a Capricorn can live happily like this, without getting involved in other people’s lives. Trust me, you’re lucky.

4- SCORPIO Ryunosuke

He may seem blunt or too strict, but he just tries to hide his emotions behind a stoic mask; he’s actually a sweet boyfriend and a dedicated lover, who never fails to blush and stutter when his girlfriend gets too close. He’s reliable and considerate, even if sometimes he can’t fully express his feelings; but if you give him a chance, you’ll discover a pure heart.

3- TAURUS Homare

He’s so devoted and caring I was almost feeling embarrassed.

Do I really deserve him? His smile is so pure, it makes the world shine.

I could always trust him, without ever feeling worried about his love for me.

I just wish he was more confident, since he’s too weak to pressure and he needs to be encouraged, or his legs begin shaking in fear.

I’m emotional and paranoid enough, I need a man who supports me and who is reassuring when there are problems and challenges in life.

2- SAGITTARIUS Azusa

Self confident, ambitious, honest and straightforward.

He may come out as pushy and a bit arrogant, because he always knows what he wants, he shows his feelings and he’s ready to fight to reach his goal.

A reliable boyfriend, he’s not embarrassed to show everyone how much he cares about you; if something doesn’t interest him, or even bothers him, he’ll just say it in your face. He never lies.

1- CANCER Suzuya

Is it weird if my favorite character shares my same Sign? Despite his flaws, his excessive desire to monopolize, his yandere tendencies, I truly loved him with all my heart. And I perfectly understood his fears, his feelings, his thoughts.

I even loved when he fought like crazy to protect the heroine from those boys who were bothering her. Go for the kill boy, don’t let anyone touch your woman!

When he was jealous, my heart broke. I wanted to tell him: “stop being so insecure! She loves you! Don’t expect her to look only at you, to only talk to you! I know how you feel, dear; I’m the same.

But we can’t expect other people to enjoy living in our little safe world, made up of our two hearts; usually, people want to explore. It doesn’t mean they aren’t faithful”.

I guess we just have too many feelings piling up and we seem obsessed. Wait, we probably are truly obsessed. But it’s not easy for us to open up our heart to someone else, so when we show everything, we truly become dedicated to the person we love and we expect them to be the same.

It’s not easy. We hurt for the smallest things and we feel lonely immediately.

Oh, I really want to enter the screen and hug Suzuya!!

Well, this is my opinion while playing Starry Sky boys.

But does it make sense, according to popular believes of Signs compatibility?

I went to check it out on a site called “Astrology Zodiac Signs”, which describes perfectly the compatibility of different couples combinations, and these are the results.

My love for Homare was proved true:

Taurus and Cancer present the gentlest couple of the zodiac. When they fall in love, they will rarely find the reason to separate, because of their shared emotional goals for love, understanding, family and the feeling of home.”

My compatibility with Suzuya was proved right too, even if 2 Cancer in a relationship may probably end up piling up too many feelings; but still:

Their mellow nature, ability to feel and have enough compassion for each other, makes them great candidates for marriage, children and the whole picket fence scenario.”

Apparently, Cancer and Aries are not meant to be together:

This relationship can be painful for both partners and needs a lot of work put into it in order to work. It requires both of the partners to adapt and make changes in their behavior, while tip toing around each other most of the time.”

Cancer and Scorpio could be a good couple too:

A relationship between a Cancer and a Scorpio can go from one extreme to another, and although Cancer partner will try hard to stabilize it, it might be too difficult if Scorpio doesn’t have enough respect for their own emotions. When they find an emotional link, they can go very deep in search of true love, and unite on a level that is unreachable for other zodiac signs. This can make them speak without words, understand each other’s thoughts with only one shared glance and be synchronized in their approach to their future together.”

Cancer and Sagittarius seem to be a weird match, but it can work out:

Cancer and Sagittarius are usually signs that aren’t attracted to each other at all. If attraction and love are born between them, they will rarely have a damaging relationship for any one of them, because their signs are ruled by the Moon and beneficent Jupiter. If they have feelings for each other, it would be a shame not to act on them and miss the opportunity to peacefully grow.”

As I expected, Cancer is not compatible with Libra:

Probably the biggest restriction in the relationship between Cancer and Libra is in things they want from their partner. Cancer wants someone responsible, to take them by the hand if needed and complement their emotional nature with practicality. Libra wants someone who is full of life, energized, strong and full of initiative to follow their ideas. They can really disappoint each other if any expectations are set wrongly at the beginning of their relationship.”

Cancer and Pisces are meant to be together:

Cancer and Pisces connect through emotions, usually as soon as they lay eyes on each other. This is one of the typical combinations of zodiac signs for love at first sight.”

I wasn’t expecting it, but it seems like Cancer and Capricorn could be a great couple:

In most cases this is a once in a lifetime love for both partners, and they will probably choose each other without a doubt.

Cancer and Aquarius should probably stay away from each other:

We could say that Cancer and Aquarius are not your usual happy couple in most cases. Their relationship can be too stressful for Cancer partner and the lack of intimacy will most probably tear them apart.”

As expected, Cancer and Gemini are not a good match too:

When it comes to relationships, there seems to be too many things that set them apart.”

Cancer and Virgo can work out, but it’s not so easy:

Cancer and Virgo can have a wonderful connection and are usually brought together by sexual understanding. The main problem of their relationship is in the possible conflict between emotional Cancer and reasonable Virgo. If they manage to overcome this, accepting each other’s shortcomings and learning to incorporate some rationality or some emotion into their lives, they could end up in an inspiring relationship that will last for a very long time. In a way, they complement each other as much as the heart complements the mind.”

Also, Cancer and Leo are too different:

Although the Moon reflects the light from the Sun, the sign of Cancer doesn’t really see Leo as the source of all their joy.

Leo is a sign that should spread joy and love with an active approach to each one of their relationships. How is it possible that Cancer is immune? Well probably because the Moon circles around the Earth, not the Sun.

They are special, that’s for sure. Both of them are strong individuals, each on their own plane. Their lack of understanding and emotional touch can be explained through the fact that both of them have a mission to spread love to the less fortunate signs of the zodiac.”

So, have we learned something about this?

I think most of my perceptions were right, my feelings for Starry Sky characters mostly corresponded to Zodiac Signs compatibility.

I don’t really know if that means the writers were great and portrayed each Sign perfectly, or maybe it’s just a coincidence.

I was surprised to discover how Cancer and Capricorn can be a great couple, since their different attitude towards people, feelings and life in general makes them completely the opposite; I guess their difference makes them complete each other perfectly.

I expected Sagittarius to be a better match, since it’s my boyfriend’s Sign (and we’ve been a couple for 13 years), but I guess it’s a couple which fits perfectly only in rare cases and we are one.

The couple Cancer-Pisces is not a surprise, since my parents have been together for like 35 years now; but even if me and my mum are both Cancer, we really don’t have the same taste in man.

Well, if you’ve managed to read the whole post, congratulations!

See you next time!

Top 10 Otome game Bad Boys

When we play otome games, sometimes we meet characters who are abusive, possessive and even violent towards the poor heroine.

We know we should hate them; if they were real, they would be nasty criminals who should rot and die in jail. But while playing, we can’t help but being fascinated by their crazy personality.

These are 10 twisted characters we can’t forget easily, who gave us terrible but good memories at the same time!

10- Shiki (Dance with Devils)

Sadist, but also masochist, he loves seeing people suffering as much as he enjoyes being hurt.

He’s always looking for something that makes him excited, without caring about other people’s feelings. His creepy and perverted mind made him a fallen angel, with amazing black wings.

9- Shiki (Period Cube)

He created a new world just to be with his sister, without caring at all about the lives of many other players who got stuck in the game and died; in fact, he didn’t even care about Kazuha’s feelings, he just decided it was the only way to obtain her.

 8- Shido Kaname (Bad Medicine)

An english teacher obsessed with order and perfection.

His idea of discipline is very peculiar: he will lock you in a special room, flipping his whip at you until you learn how to respect the school rules properly.

He always wears gloves because he hates touching directly anyone and anything.

7- Mejojo (Black wolves saga)

Should I list all the terrible things he did, just to fulfill his ego and obtain revenge? His traumatic childhood had a bad influence on him, but obviously this is not enough to justify all his terrible actions. Yet, somehow, I can’t hate him completely. I can’t help but wonder if he could have been a nice person and a good king, if he grew up with a loving mother.

6- Natsume, Ephemeral fantasy on dark

I’ve played a lot of bad boys, but I never imagined one of them would threaten to cut me into pieces and eat me. All he said and did was creepy, I was even scared to be alone with him cause he totally looked like he could stab me or disfigure my face so I would become ugly and no other man would fall in love with me.

5- Iori- ChouChou Jiken

It’s unusual for me to fall in love with a shota, but his route was one of the most interesting yet creepiest I’ve even played: his bratty attitude got me hooked, I wanted to know more about him.

I was more curious and fascinated than angry, even if he deserved a punch most of the time.

4- Yang (Piofiore no banshou)

I know, he’s just a sadistic psycho who ejoys playing with people’s life.

But his creepy voice and bossy attitude somehow make him so attractive, I couldn’t help but fall in love with his twisted personality and cruel smile.

3- Laito (Diabolik Lovers)

Pervert, creepy and basically a rapist who thinks women are just toys for him to have fun.

Just thinking about his relationship with his mother makes me feel angry and disgusted; but somehow, I can’t hate him completely, since part of his attitude depends on Cordelia’s behaviour when he was a child.

2- Auger (Black wolves saga)

Black wolves saga wouldn’t be so great without his hysterical laugh, his psycho moments and the  creepy sound of his violin. He’s so cruel and crazy, we can’t stop looking at him, just to see how far he can get.

1- Masato (Moshikami)

I bet our reaction was the same, after knowing about the beach incident: we couldn’t even look at him anymore, we just wished him to burn in hell and leave the poor Haruka alone!

But still, she forgave him. And that was even more frustrating to see.

He’s a shocking character, who set a new level of “bad” and left a great impression on everyone who played the game; we won’t forget his route easily.

Do you like bad boys in otome games?

Who is your favorite bad boy?

Top10 dark otome Games

As you probably know if you’ve read my TOP10 otome games, my tastes tend to be quite weird: I enjoy dark themes a lot and I think creepy characters are the most interesting and attractive.

If you want to try some of these games, here’s my list of favorite twisted, bloody and maybe disturbing otome games! If you decide to try some of them, you’ve been warned!

10- Dance with Devils

Demons and vampires fighting for you… while singing.

Well, the game is not trashy as the anime, so enjoy a lot of bloody scenes without facepalming.

9- Bad Medicine

These are the sexy, perverted teachers we all secretly wished to have in high school.

Or maybe not.

8- Blackish house

Be ready for angst, abuse and a lot of tears.

If you can still love those guys in the end, you’re too nice for this world.

7- Chouchou Jiken

Be careful of the zombies, or you’ll get eaten.

And don’t trust anyone!

6- 7’scarlet

A summer horror game, filled with mystery and creepy secrets.

5- Steam Prison

Don’t trust anyone, when you’re surrounded by criminals.

You’re one of them after all, until you can’t prove your innocence.

4- Diabolik Lovers

These vampires will suck your blood as they wish, and make you suffer until you die.

Unless you’re lucky enough to gain their love.

3- Piofiore no banshou

A beautiful town, which hides violence and any kind of crimes.

It’s mafia, after all.

2- Black Wolves Saga

Get ready to feel pain, angst and fear.

When you think it can’t get worse, you descend into the deepest despair.

1- Moshikami

A bloody hell. Think about all your worst nightmares, add some splatter and the craziest yandere oniichan ever. It’s even worse than your wildest imagination…. or better, if you enjoy pain.

Special Valentine Post: have a nice date!

I’ve always wanted to write something for Valentine’s Day, so I tried to imagine how it would be, if you could celebrate this lovely day with our dear 2D boys: where would they take you? Who would make it the most romantic date ever?

It was an hard ranking to make, but here’s my prediction!

10- Brother’s conflict Kaname

Kaname actually had some kind of Valentine’s day event in the game, but he just received Ema’s chocolate, without having a proper date (they were still in a sibiling-relationship at that time).

Since he gave her a sweet perfume for White Day, I guess it’s the kind of present he would give to his girlfriend too.

If you had a date with him on Valentine’s day, he would take you out for a fancy dinner, probably giving you red roses; then he would drive his expensive car, reaching a romantic place to stop by and stare at the city lights; then he’d give you a sexy present, asking you to wear it only for him.

9- Klap Camil

He would take you to his family castle, magnificent but also kinda scary.

You’d be really excited, but a bit anxious of being surrounded by ancient vampires who might turn you into their next meal.

Camil would ask you to follow him to his special place, and you’d be thrilled to see if there’s some kind of astonishing scenery; but you’d soon realize it’s just a secret room where he hides to play games. At first you’d be kinda disappointed, but you’d end up having fun while playing with him all night long.

8- Otoko Yuukaku Takao

Well, our favorite manwhore knows how to please a woman.

He would be yours for the whole day and night (for free!) so you can make all your wishes come true. But don’t get used to it, from the next day you’ll need to pay his services again…. and he’s expensive!

7- Piofiore Yang

He would reserve his favorite Chinese restaurant, that would become a special place only for you (he would pay or kill all the other customers, obviously. Probably kill, it’s faster).

Then, he would proceed to tell you how lucky you are, for being able to enjoy his company and be the chosen one, who can spend some quality time with him.

Enjoy your meal and smile, hoping you’ll please him enough to survive.

6- Diabolik Lovers Kou

He would carelessly bring you to the mall, pretending he forgot about this special date.

But then you would realize he has prepared a special concert dedicated to you, so he can bring you up to the stage and show to the world how much he loves you. He would probably propose in front of everyone, without caring if you’re too embarrassed to answer properly.

5- Dance with Devils Lindo

Oniichan would cook for you everything you want, while wearing his cute (desperate housewife style) apron; he would sing for you musical style overdramatic love songs and spoil you so much that you’ll wish to live forever alone with him. And he’ll probably grant your wish, silently locking you inside of the house forever.

4- Kamigami no Asobi Apollon

He would come get you riding on Pegasus, so you’ll experience flying to the bright sun, admiring beautiful landscapes under you: the sea, mountains and cities, all feel so small when you watch them from above. You’ll realize how everyday problems are so little and stupid, compared to the vastness of the world.

Then he would stop while reaching a flowery meadow, where nice food is waiting for you; you would enjoy this simple meal, prepared by him with love, and you’d spend the whole day together, smiling at each other and feeling fulfilled.

3- NilAdmirari Hayato

He’s always cheesy and romantic, so I guess he would buy you a pretty dress and he’d take you out to a classy restaurant for a romantic dinner. Then you’d probably take a long walk, while he’d keep telling you how beautiful you are and how he’s the luckiest man of this planet for having such an angelic girlfriend.

2- Storm Lover Yuto

He’ll bring you to his private island, where there’s an amazing high class residence.

Dozens of waiters and maids are treating you like a lady, while musicians are playing violin next to you. After your dinner, you can take a romantic walk by the beach, staring at the night sea and enjoying the silence of the beautiful nature.

Then Yuto would give you a shiny diamond ring, asking you to become his princess and live there with him in never-ending happiness.

1- Kokuchou no Psychedelica Kagiha

He would come at your house, carrying in his hand the bento he cooked for you.

He would smile sweetly, while blushing as he tells you “happy Valentine’s, my love”.

Then he would take your hand, leading you to the most important places of your childhood: the park where you used to play games, the place where he first confessed his feelings, asking you to become his future wife… all those memories would make you feel emotional and teary eyed.

He would gently wipe away your tears, kneeling in front of you.

While you are still shocked and you can’t control your heart beating like crazy, he would tell you with his soft voice: “I want to fulfill my promise. We are not children anymore, I want you to be my wife for real”.

What was your favorite date? How do you imagine your date with your best boy?
